The idea for Amara took shape during one of the most transformative phases of my life. As a new mother to twin daughters, my days became a beautiful balance of sleepless nights, endless love, and a growing desire to build something meaningful.

Between caring for my children and speaking with weavers across India, I found myself falling deeper in love with the stories behind our handlooms.

Every conversation with an artisan reminded me that India’s weaving traditions deserve to be celebrated, not forgotten. That is how Amara came to life.
