As a new mother to twin daughters, my days became a beautiful balance of sleepless nights, endless love, and a growing desire to build something meaningful. Between caring for my children and speaking with weavers across India, I found myself falling deeper in love with the stories behind our handlooms.
Every conversation with an artisan reminded me that India’s weaving traditions deserve to be celebrated, not forgotten.
That is how Amara came to life.
We work directly with skilled weavers from some of India’s most celebrated weaving clusters, bringing together authentic handloom sarees that honour generations of craftsmanship. By keeping our journey close to the source, we are able to offer genuine, thoughtfully curated sarees at fair prices while ensuring that the artisans behind them receive the recognition they deserve.
